A sensor head follows the shape of tooth face and is insertedinto each tooth-space during a rotation of the measured part. While the sensor head itself conducts a rotation movement, the moment is monitored in which the head touches both tooth face. This maximum, as recorded by an induction sensor, represents over-the balls diameter.

Gear measurement – System DEXTERA DOUBLE BALL

Unique measuring device for measurement od basic gear parameters including evaluation of parameters division. Device is designated for measuremet during the production and enables direct verification and production process regulation. A complete measurement run includes measuring and verification and takes approx. 20 sec. Device is based on DEXTERA principle and applicable of all types of gears and splining.

• Accuracy of pitch diameter: ± 0,5 µm, Cgk – 1,67 in standard tolerances of automotive industry
• Range: Pitch diameter 20 – 150 mm (basic version)
